I’m Philipp, a freelancer and researcher in computer vision and machine learning with more than 27 years of programming experience and an educational background in embedded systems and real-time systems.

I love solving problems and building AI models and software that are efficient and scalable.

I’m the founder, CEO, and lead engineer of Werner Software GmbH. As an independent contractor, I have worked in R&D projects and consulting for nine companies. During my time as a researcher in academia, I have authored/co-authored more than 50 scientific publications, which have been cited more than 2800 times in total. And I have earned a PhD with honors in applied Computer Vision.
